Following Update 2.117.1, Agent using iOS are reporting issues | Ingress Updates [ENG]

Following Update 2.117.1, Agent using iOS are reporting issues with accessing Ingress citing black sceens, an empty map or the start of the tutorial without a way to advance or abandon it. Niantic is investigating the issue.

If you log in using Apple Sign-in, you can also try to sign in with another linked sign-in method (Google or Facebook). If you don't have an additional method linked, you can open another Niantic game of your choice and log into ot with your Apple account. You can then link another method in the settings which will also carry over to Ingress, allowing you to sign in there with Google or Facebook.

If that doesn't resolve your issue, Niantic has advised to IUENG to open a Support ticket and to mention the issues you are seeing as well as mention that you are using iOS on Version 2.117.1. NIA Ops will try to collect these cases to escalate them to the engineering team before the weekend.
