APPLICATION SPECIALIST - NAIROBI

Our client distributing medical equipment are looking forward to hiring an Application Specialist to provide technical and scientific expertise for the assigned products in the promotion, marketing, sales, training and operational (trouble shooting) support customers indifferent regions. within the country.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

. Participation in the formulation of equipment technical specifications.
. Plan & facilitate customer presentations, training and materials on laboratory applications (beginners and advanced) for potential new and existing customers to develop their skills & capabilities.
. Evaluating and determining suitability for use all the programmable equipment procured for use by the company clients.
. Provide technical and scientific application insights to customers to market roche and its products and services in order to contribute to business development/ sales targets for assigned products.
. Installation of new equipment either at the customers work station or company premises.
. Adhere to instrument manufacturing and operations standards, relevant SOPs and best practice guidelines relating to all application requirements, product bulletins and any new AS or quality SOPs.
. Formulating customer orientation/ training and guidance on how to operate new equipment.
. Designing and implementation of the planned preventive maintenance ( PPM) for all the Programmable aspects of company supplied equipment.
. Maintain high level of customer engagement throughout on site visit with regular updates, feedback and on-the-job training to customers.
. Trouble-shooting to diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions reported by customers.
. Complete relevant administration within set timelines to affect T & E cost centre activities.
. Maintain records/logs or repairs and fixes and maintenance schedules of the company supplied or contracted equipment.
. Keeping an inventory of all the organization equipment.
. Any other task assigned from time to time which is professional relevant.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

. Diploma/Degree in any Medical Sciences qualification or related studies.
. More than 3 year's work experience in clinical laboratory or IVD product companies with excellent understanding in IVD products, such as biochemistry, immunoassay and hematology analyzers.
. Previous experience working with medical equipment in a similar role is preferred.
. Experienced and excellent in delivering application training, troubleshooting with logical thinking.
. Good organization and coordination skills, communication skills and pressure tolerance, work proactively
. Willingness to travel extensively is required.

. Reliable.


MONTHLY GROSS SALARY: Ksh. 40,000
