What are the results of the thirty years of democratization of the post-Soviet countries, in particular of Georgia and Ukraine? Why did neoliberal democracy replace social democracy? How is democracy possible in a divided society? How can we define democracy?
These and other questions were discussed during the second part of the seminar Challenges to Democracy in a Time of Great Changes that was held on May 31, 2021. We publish a video of it. The seminar was organized by the Council for Research in Values and Philosophy (Washington, DC, USA) and the Sociology Department, Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (Kyiv, Ukraine).
