#SATMath #withcalc
Levsha ran for 13 kilometers from point A to Point B. Calculate his mean speed in Min+seconds given his speed in each km.
The first person to give a correct answer will get my College List for RD.

Seva, my close friend, recently opened her telegram channel.
I supported this idea as I truly believed (well I still do) that she has the kind of knowledge and the ability to express that knowledge in a written format.
Seva has got accepted to New York University in Abu Dhabi for her stunning academic performance throughout high school, stellar grades, and test scores.
However, above everything that was noted here, I respect her and want to spend more time talking to her because of her personality, honesty, ambitious nature, listening skills, and, most importantly, how free she is to behave the way she wants to behave: smile when she sees something funny, dance when the music sounds familiar and explore when something is interesting.
That girl has got something to share with you so make sure you subscribe to her and write to her Direct Messages asking questions while she’s available before she starts her freshman year at NYUAD. (p.s. sorry for the photo)

2022-08-09 21:05:20 The Hoover Digest is a quarterly publication that offers informative writing on politics, economics, and history by the scholars and researchers of Hoover Institution.
Digest features about thirty of Hoover scholars’ writings on a variety of topics including Russia and Ukraine, China, the economy, immigration, education, and more.
Some highlights of this issue include:
•“We Can’t Let Ukraine Lose” with Condoleezza Rice and Rachel Martin– Hoover director Condoleezza Rice says Russia’s invasion is “disastrous for the liberal world order. It’s disastrous for Europe. It’s disastrous for all the values we hold dear.”
•“Feeding the Fires of Inflation” by Kevin A. Hassett – “Modern monetary theory” holds that a profligate government can always just print more money. Is there a more reckless belief?
I wish I found out about Hoover years ago. I would highly recommend doing some research on Hoover Institution, its history, and its fellows, and do subscribe to the mailing list.

fill out the form
answer all the questions
attach your proof of english language proficiency (IELTS, CEFR, TOEFL, SAT or maybe Duolingo?)
last but not least, you have to write an essay on the following topic:
What do you expect from iBRAT Language Camp and what will you do after the Camp is over to develop language learning?
the maximum number of words is 150 so you have to keep it as concise as possible.
go to Grammarly and check for the mistakes (punctuation, word choice, spelling, etc.)
once you are done, send your application.
good luck to all of you!

2022-06-20 22:53:14 how i did my college search?
first, you take a clean sheet of paper (better be physical), write down all unis you dream of studying in. second, you go to this and write down all unis that give fin aid (including partial down to 85%). then, you remove all that is notorious for rejecting all who ask for full fin aid (colgate?). You are left with around 35 unis. after that, you remove all colleges which do not have your major (I’m not sure f.e if you can study biomed engineering at CMUQ). You still have around 30 schools, 12-15 of which are HYPSM, Duke, Northwestern, UChicago and top Liberal Arts Colleges like Williams and Amherst. Now it’s time to open deeper stats like acceptance rates, average SAT scores. ask yourself, do you really want to study at MIT or any other close one, and are you sure enough that you will handle the academic rigor, social (extremely liberal!) atmosphere? I’m sure most of your answers are yes but, anyways, we have to remove some. Therefore, you take a closer look in seach uni by looking various dimensions like climate (mb u don’t want cold weather?), location (mb u don’t want NYC?), sports (f.e you want to do judo but that uni doesn’t have tatami?).
you still have 20-25 options. if you want to apply ED, you want to be as specific in your preferences as possible. it’s better if ur ed choice is your dream school, but you actually want to get in somewhere with decent scholarship, so applying to Harvard just because it’s your dream school and it gives full aid may not be a good option. to find balance, open reddit&college website/YouTube and read a lot about what your possible ed options are looking for in applicants. You can also attend (or even appint at some) information sessions where you can learn a lot about the college and also ask questions. You are roughly left with 5-6 colleges for ED round. I will explain how I chose that one school and some backup options in the next post.
thank yourself for being patient enough to read the entire post and save it.

2022-06-14 23:35:34 it’s around the middle of the year
here are my thoughts on six months
1. I didn’t get in and took a gap year though it's unrelated to this year
2. One of my biggest plans was to take some mentoring help from Freshman team but it didn’t work out as I was rejected from the program
3. I broke up with my girlfriend
4. I messed up the May SAT
5. I was also rejected from the Teacher’s Job position (I’m actually glad for that now since I have much needed time to rest now
Fortunately, I got good news, too
1. After losing in 3 competitions, I finally became the champion in the fourth competition (as a captain )
2. I finally took IELTS(good enough?)
3. Finished with high(est?) grades
4. Received the “pride of the lyceum” award at school (stipend)
5. Ran a 10km marathon and got 18th place out of 377 (one of the most memorable experiences)
6. I am eating remarkably more
7. I'm writing way more:essays, book notes, and others (it doesn’t mean I'm writing any better, it just means I'm thinking a lot more)
The above were just a part of what I can share here: there were many more setbacks and victories.
I lost a lot of my close people but I also met some new people who I hope will become very close to me
so what are my nearest plans?
1. I am now taking State Leaving Exams and now fully preparing for it
2. Then we we will have a graduation day in 23 and party in 26
3. I will also go to the third season of Ibrat Camp (do register and go once we send the link to registration, see you in the exam and at the camp!)
4. I am taking Intro to Calculus class on Coursera & hope to complete it
5. if the parents of Firdavs allow him, we'll go to the gym and get fit
last but not least, if you wanna have some nice chat with me, write to @mozgibuilder (only for girls )
