#ICYMI The upcoming North-South Corridor (#NSC) will vastly improve travel for everyone in the region - be it motorists, bus commuters, cyclists or pedestrians.
#RedefiningJourneysForTomorrow

As it passes busy and heavily built-up areas, some disamenities during its construction are inevitable, though we strive to limit inconvenience as much as possible. This includes traffic diversions, which are needed to create space for the works.

From 30 Apr, the existing junction between Marymount Road, Sin Ming Avenue and Bishan St 22 will be replaced by a roundabout for about a year. This will allow for NSC tunnel works under the existing junction to proceed in a safe and efficient manner.

Check out this visual for more more info on this change and stay tuned for updates.

#KeepCalmAndCycleOn Following a six-month trial, we’ll be making the #SundayCyclingLane along West Camp Road permanent from 17 Apr 2023!

In the last months of trialling this scheme, we observed that traffic conditions and bus operations continued to operate smoothly. Nearly all users adhered to their allocated lanes during the cycling lane’s operating hours (5am - 11am). Most stakeholders also supported this scheme given the better road space allocation.

Besides West Camp Road, we’re currently studying other areas where this scheme may extend to, so stay tuned to our socials!

In the meantime, if you’re cycling in the area on Sunday mornings, do look out for this lane demarcated by solid blue lines.
