The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Search for the Night of Qad | Manhaj of the Salaf

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:

"Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the last ten nights of Ramadan."

: Sahih Bukhari 2017

NOTE : Night of Qadr changes every year. The Sahabah saw the night of Qadr on different nights on different years. The wisdom behind this is that Allah (سُبحانه وتعالى) wants us to keep ourselves devoted in his worship in these 10 days, so the lazy one doesn't depend on only one night. It was also the sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) worshipped the same way in the last 10 days, so we should do this as well. Do not fix only one day for worshipping (like 27th) because who knows that Laylatul Qadr has already passed.. or is about to come, so do not waste these nights, treat every night as important because this was the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
