The Consumer Confidence Index in the world continues to decline

The Ipsos calculated consumer confidence index continued to decline in June, averaging 47.5 points for all surveyed countries in June compared with 47.6 points in May

The biggest decrease of consumer confidence was registered in the European countries: a record-breaking -3 points in Hungary, -1.4 points in Poland, from -0.1 (Sweden) to -0.6 (France) in the rest of Europe. The situation is deteriorating in Turkey (-1.3 points, and the overall index has already fallen to the level of 28 points) and South Africa (-1.5)

The residents of China (+2.5 points within a month), Saudi Arabia (+1.4 - oh, that expensive oil) and Mexico (+1.1) were more confident about the future. In other countries the growth (of those where the consumer confidence index is growing in principle) is rather symbolic
