How many nuclear reactors are now being built around the worldmore than 50! And about 100 more are planned and construction of more than 300 is being discussed
Interestingly, more than half of these figures (for all three) come from Asia: 35 reactors are being built, 56 are planned and 220 are under discussion
Taking into account that nuclear power might well be considered 'green', considering that, unlike wind turbines or solar power plants, a nuclear reactor operates stably under all environmental conditions, we have a good chance of seeing more and more nuclear power plants around the world in the future. And hopefully with more advanced safety systems

Warren Buffett has led Berkshire Hathaway for over half a centuryAnd is the "longest-serving" CEO of any S&P500 company to date with 51 years in office. The chart shows a much more modest number: 42 years with Universal Health Services, 36 years with Blackstone, and already a mere 16 years with J.P. Morgan, ranked #9 (very close to the top: 9 out of several hundred).
Interesting thing may be also noticed: 5 of 9 companies with the longest-living directors are financial organizations

What Russians are doing to improve their financial situation: now and 10 years agoSome more interesting figures from the results of an interesting fresh survey. The most common ways for Russians to improve their financial situation now are additional work at their main job and odd jobs - 25% of respondents do both
Interestingly, the popularity of additional work (at the main place of employment as well as in other locations) since 2009 did not change, but one-time jobs became less popular: in 2009, the result was 30%. Russians also began to engage in the household sector much less frequently, both to provide for their families (22% in 2020 vs. 28% in 2009), and to trade (a decline by more than half, from 9% to 4%).
Instead, some began to have property and savings: 6% of respondents have income from the lease of real estate / vehicles, and interest on deposits, in comparison with 2% in 2009. However, 12% receive assistance from other people, as opposed to 6% in 2009

Long-term investments going out of fashion?
In the 1960s, the average investor owned the average stock in his portfolio for about 8 years: right in the spirit of Warren Buffett's quote that "my favorite holding period [
share]is forever"
But times are changing, and the picture has shifted dramatically now: average holding period has fallen to a year-and-a-half in 2010 and has been hovering around that level for the last ten years. The world is accelerating, and investments are accelerating along with it

World greenhouse gas emissions by sector73.2% of global greenhouse gas emissions are associated with energy: use in industry (24%), transport (16%), buildings (17.5%) and other sectors. At that the same aviation, with which (especially its passenger part) modern "greens" like to fight, is responsible for only 1.9% of global CO2 emissions
Agriculture is responsible for 18.4% of the global emissions, industry for 5.2% and garbage for 3.2%
