Una storia che porta con sé questo spirito è stata raccontata da un amico che ha assistito agli insegnamenti del Dalai Lama al Madison Square Garden.
Poiché erano tra i più alti insegnamenti sulle pratiche Vajrayana, la loro introduzione fu accompagnata da un rituale complesso.
Furono dipinti mandala di sabbia e preparato un elegante trono ricoperto di tappeti e broccati di seta.
Dopo che le migliaia di persone si sedettero, un gruppo colorato di lama e monaci intono canti sacri, accompagnati dal suono delle campane tibetane, dai cimbali e da grandi corni di montagna.
Quando il Dalai Lama entrò , camminò lungo il tappeto e sali i gradini per arrivare in cima al trono.
Per rendere il seggio confortevole, gli organizzatori avevano posizionato dei materassi, coperti da tappeti e seta.
Quando sua santità si sedette sul trono, questo rimbalzò.
Un sorriso gli illuminò il volto.
Rimbalzò di nuovo e sorrise ancora.
Poi, davanti a migliaia di studenti, prima di offrire i più alti insegnamenti sulla Ruota del Tempo e sulla creazione del mondo, il Dalai Lama rimbalzò ancora molte volte su e giù felice ridendo come un bambino.

A story that carries this spirit was told by a friend who attended the Dalai Lama's teachings at Madison Square Garden.
Because they were among the highest teachings on Vajrayana practices, their introduction was accompanied by a complex ritual.
Sand mandalas were painted and an elegant throne covered with carpets and silk brocades was prepared.
After the thousands of people sat down, a colorful group of lamas and monks sang sacred chants, accompanied by the sound of Tibetan bells, cymbals and large mountain horns.
When the Dalai Lama entered , he walked along the carpet and up the steps to the top of the throne.
To make the seat comfortable, the organizers had placed mattresses, covered with carpets and silk.
When His Holiness sat on the throne, it bounced.
A smile lit up his face.
He bounced again and smiled again.
Then, in front of thousands of students, before offering the highest teachings on the Wheel of Time and the creation of the world, the Dalai Lama bounced up and down many more times happily laughing like a child.

true nature.

May you rest in grace, natural compassion and a liberated heart.
Whether in times of joy or sorrow, may you be happy.
