What is considered acceptable today may be deemed offensive tomorrow, leading to confusion and uncertainty.

2- It can suppress free speech: Cancel culture can lead to a culture of fear where people are afraid to speak their minds for fear of being publicly shamed or ostracized. This can suppress free speech and hinder open and honest discourse.

3- It can be unfair and unjust: Cancel culture can be unfair and unjust, particularly when people are "cancelled" without due process or the opportunity to defend themselves. It can also disproportionately target certain groups or individuals, leading to a lack of diversity of opinion.
