After attending the bi-weekly pre-reading sessions (Malay Language), our MFS principal Ms. Ruzita Zainuddin noticed improvements in her son’s ability to converse in Malay with his family members.

Besides language education, other learning resources such as traditional food recipes are also included in our Home Learning Programme to spark children’s interest in culture - which explains how Ms. Ruzita’s son is now a pro at making kuih lapis!

At NTUC First Campus, we helped families in need by introducing initiatives such as the one-time top-up of $400 to the Child Development Account (CDA) of more than 4,200 children who attend our preschools. #MyFirstSkool

To provide them with more support, 3,000 families were also sponsored an NTUC membership so that they can get through these tough times.

Following its launch in January 2021, the Home Learning Programme that was designed to complement our existing preschool curriculum has since enabled parents of as many as 22,000 preschool children to play a proactive part in their child’s learning!

This programme is available and can be accessed through a microsite platform on parents’ computers and tablets, across MFS’ 145 centres. Aiming to be a ‘Teacher in the Home’, it provides three methods of learning for children with content produced by MFS.
