Shutov Stone, Russia
A large gray quartzite stone lies on the bank of the Kimersha River in the Moscow region. It is surrounded by marshes and swamps, but it does not sink.
According to popular belief, the Shutov stone is one of the nine fragments of the mysterious Alatyr stone.
Legends tell us that "in times immemorial, a stone sailed down the river Kimershe to the people. He sailed against the stream and began to be revered by the people as sacred. Rituals began to be organized around it, and over time this boulder became famous as a healing and giving force."
To this day, those who suffer come to it, throwing coins and pouring water on it, which then becomes therapeutic.
