2022-12-06 01:11:48 Unfortunately, in these negotiations, Armenia is excluded. A reminder that two days ago so-called "Azerbaijani environmental activists" closed the #Lachin corridor while the Azerbaijani government accused Armenia and Iran of sending "sabotagers to Nagorno-Karabakh through the corridor". The road was re-opened, thanks to Russian-Azerbaijani negotiations.
Unfortunately, if the reports of installing Azerbaijani custom post are confirmed, this will be the only beginning of the end. Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh are facing an existential threat, yet the authorities in Yerevan (and the opposition) are unable to come up with a clear vision/strategy regarding the security and future of the Armenians in the region. Time is not in favor of Armenia and the complex geopolitical developments after the Russian war on Ukraine are complicating the matter as Armenia is turning into another Russian-Western battleground which will ultimately have a disastrous outcome for Armenia (especially Nagorno-Karabakh).
