King Otter - also known as Dobhar-Chu in Irish folklore - is a 2m long creature believed to be a cross between an otter and a hound.

They supposedly hunt in pairs and when one of them is killed it lets off an eerie whistling sound which alerts its mate, who then attacks from the depths, revenging his friend.
