Days of euphoria and insanity
Days of slumber and recurring nightmares
Days of blackened overmorrows
Preceeded by fruitless tomorrows
Days of love laced with aversion
Suicide became our god
Silence our eternal anthem
Yet we screamed
Days inside a drug induced simulation of a dreamland
I wrote haikus on your thighs
As you shot dying angel's tears
Through your dysfunctional veins
Days where death became our drug dealer
He came to our doorstep
And begged for all the suffering to stop
"Somewhere"
He said
"Is an infant latched onto a nipple
The belongs to a dead mother
And geographically diametrical
To this vaguely accurate dissimulation of
Mary and christ
Is an infant born with a dozen silver spoons
Down his throat"
Days of utter misunderstandings
Days when your pinkie finger started twitching
And I had to kiss it
To let you know
That beneath the heavy veil of our shared psychosis
Lodged in a raw emotion that we overlooked
Days of dead memories
Days of multi-colored pills fighting to survive
In a stomach
Flooded with a hefty amount of
Jack Daniel's
Days of straying away from god
Days of crashing into eachother
Days of poetry and madness and drugs
"Beyond the realm of our imminent deaths"
You said
"Is a paradise for me and you"
As you scoured my body for vulnerable vessels
I love her
I love you
I hate us
Days of pleasant unpleasantries
Days
Days of carnal catharsis
Days of pure internal cataclysm
Days of total demolition
Days with you
Days in this room
Days in this room
