 "  A man suspected of attempting to obstruct the legitimate professional activities of a journalist was detained in Moscow.  

Investigators of the Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the city of Moscow opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Art. 144 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the investigation, on November 7, 2023, a man, while on the landing at the entrance of a residential building at the residence address of journalist Alexander Kots and his wife, tried to exert mental influence on the journalist’s wife. Thus, the defendant wanted to interfere with the professional activities of the journalist.

In the near future, the defendant will be taken to the department of the capital's Investigative Committee, where investigators will begin interrogating him.
