Over 1700 Ukrainian military members have been "evacuated" from the Azovstal plant in Mariupol with the "assistance of Kyiv" is what Kiev is telling the world but it's a lie.
I'm Patrick Lancaster and in this report, we're in Mariupol at the location where the Azov and Ukrainian military members have been surrendering in mass.
Let's talk about the facts. 3 days ago there were well over 2000 Azov and Ukrainian soldiers in the last stand, the last position of the Ukrainian military in Mariupol, the Azov Azovstal Plant.
3 days ago there was a temporary ceasefire called to allow the Azov Ukrainian military to surrender. Let's talk about what the word is surrender: to stop resisting an enemy and submit to their authority
and that is what 1700 Azov battalion members and Ukrainian military members have done. They have walked out of this plant and submitted to the
authority of the Republic people's republic and Russian forces. Yes there was a small amount that was injured and one could say can a person that is totally
incapacitated surrender? Maybe those handfuls of injured Azov battalion Ukrainian military that was
totally incapacitated and injured one could say they might have been evacuated(by definition) by the Donetsk People's Republic and Russian forces but certainly not the Ukrainian authorities. So the fact that Kiev keeps trying to push the fact that they've done all this to help the Azov and Ukrainian military evacuate the Azov plant here in Mariupol is a total lie and misinformation created to just mislead the world.
Facts are facts and Kiev continues to try and lie about them to fit their agenda

Journalists Under fire As Shelling Hits Civilian Area in Russian Controlled Village
A village under fire is what i found when investigating territory that had been captured by Russian and DPR Forces From Ukraine. My team and I was in this captured territory to document what was happening and found an area and people decimated by shelling. The locals of course blamed Ukraine for shelling their homes. We found women and children living in bomb shelters hiding from the shells. While we were there we came under shelling aswell. It almost seemed like the shells were aiming at us. My cameraman Sasha even commented they were firing at us. Luckily we met some very nice people and learned alot about the situation there. We will be returning to help them as well.

2022-05-17 18:21:28 It's over for Azov & Ukraine at Azovstal In Mariupol?

The Surrender has begun, of the remaining Azov Battalion and Ukrainian soldiers that have been stuck in and fighting for the Azovstal steel plant for the last almost 3 months. Last night over 50 injured Ukrainian soldiers were evacuated by DPR and Russian forces to a hospital for treatment in DPR. There were an additional 250 that surrendered and were taken to a DPR jail as prisoners. It is unknown exactly how many Ukrainians remain in the plant but today it is expected that more will be surrendering in mass. The major fighting in Mariupol came to an end and the majority of the heavy military equipment moved out of the city just before the Russian army declared victory in Mariupol back in April. Since then the fighting has been contained to the Azovstal plant and its territory. The DPR and Russian soldiers near the Azovstal say it is just a matter of time until the last Azov and Ukrainian soldiers surrender so the plant is clear and they say it will be soon.
This morning I went to the site of the Mass surrendering and gave a quick update on the ground to show you what it is really like. The DPR and Russian forces are waiting and ready for the Ukrainians in Azovstal to surrender. Only time will tell when it is over at Azovstal

2 civilians were killed as Ukraine shells hit 2 schools, 1 kindergarten, and several apartment buildings in the Petrovka district of Donetsk.
