Unintentionally, cluelessly
the mistake was committed.
I am the one to blame,
finally I admit it.

But did anyone ask
What was my fault all along?
I gave up in the battlefield
I couldn't fight for so long.

That's the reason for my loss,
Maybe I wasn't strong enough.
Maybe the battle was beyond my strength,
Maybe It was way too tough.

But I apologise,
For being unable to win, even if you insisted.
I wish I wasn't part of the battle,
I wish I never existed.

But I will stand some other day,
I'll try to fight once again
Until then, I'll continue thinking
Why my efforts went in vain.
