I hope I've been the best student in the lessons of life, I wish I've learnt everything for the both of us.
I hope that the only reason you'll stay up all night is to ace that exam the next day and not to drown in confusion trying to make sense of broken words and gaslighting yourself into believing a glaring lie like I've done one to many times.
I hope the only reason tears are drawn out of your beautiful eyes is nothing more than joy or the unfortunate end of a movie not for a fickle soul, not for the pain of having your efforts unreciprocated and even worse, trampled.
My sweet little angel, I hope mommy's been great of a student in the lessons of life, I hope I've earned enough scars for the both of us.
