Dear God please give me strength,
To get through this pain, this hurt, this length.
I know you're with me every step of the way,
Help me fight through this darkness and find my way.

The tears keep falling, soaking my pillow,
But somehow, someway, I know I'll get through.
I'll wipe my tears and stand up tall,
And face this challenge, once and for all.

So let the tears fall, let them flow,
For soon enough they'll dry you know.
And in their place, a healing balm,
Will bring you peace, and keep you calm.

So don't give up, don't lose your fight,
For in the end, everything will be alright.
And when you look back on these tears,
You'll see how far you've come, and conquer all fears.
