Autumn falls with a new chill in the air, The tree leaves tur | Every Day Poems
Autumn falls with a new chill in the air,
The tree leaves turn orange, red, and fair,
They flutter and dance in the breeze,
Painting the town with a gentle disease.
They fall softly to the ground below,
Making a canvas, a beautiful show.
The colors of fall, so warm and bright,
A kiss to the soul, with each new sight.
The crunch underfoot as I walk along,
Remind me again of the season strong,
Nature’s beaut, the glory on display,
As the winter trains, just a month away.
I’ll take a deep breath, and let it out slow,
As I bask in the balminess of the autumn glow.
The leaves will wane, but the memories will stay
Until it’s time again, for another autumn day.
