Title:Farewell

Why do I have,
To say this again,
An awful sentence,
To everyone I love.

I am exhausted of altering it,
Is this what they call life?
Where is the well in farewell?
I see it not, only emptiness.

I feel like stopping time,
Every time I have to say it,
Whenever I must let go,
Of yet another piece of me.

Everything changes in time,
While it’s far from us,
I have lost my heart to farewell phobia,
due to these unpredictable changes.

I have lost a war I against it,
I have lost spirit to rage on.
What is brought by its presence,
It’s a feeling of contempt for it.

Is the time I say farewell,
To everything I cherish, desire and love,
For life keeps on taking what I hold dear.
Leaving all that keeps me awake at night.
