The attraction to the opposite sex,
The tendency to behave all gentlemanly in the presence
Of a supposed crash.

The affection that springs forth
Naturally, propelling you to go
The extra mile and do the unthinkable.
Yeah that feeling that overwhelms you and saturates your whole being.

It's normal but oafish at the same time.
You become a dog to an extent
And lose your conscience to that crush
Who doesn't even crush on you back.

You spend precious hours thinking
About her when she's busily texting
Someone she's crushing on.
You send her a message and she replies hours later.

You've gotten all so used to the
Blue tick treatment because
Of her and you still hope that she's
Feeling the same way about you.

You're sleeping my brother,
Wake up!!
Stop casting your pearls before
A swine who's probably also casting
Her pearls before another swine.

"Wanti wanti no get; getti getti
No want", life's misery!!
Snap out of that state of quagmire
And begin to face reality.

Your personal person may yet be
In the skies together with the stars
And you're busily looking for her
Amongst dried pearls.

That feeling erh ... it's an interesting
One and almost every guy has had to
Experience it at one point or the other
In their lives.

The difference is some grow out of
It whereas others get destroyed by it.
The choice is solely yours.
