Life got complicated,
and we all lost ourselves,
we stopped losing our pencils,
and borrowing pens.

The hangouts stopped,
our lunch breaks forgotten,
and the coffee breaks lost,
We gre up didn't we?

The promises to stay together forever,
To meet after we grow up?
We lost it all,
As life became a maze, didn't we?

Remember, putting wrong foot in the right shoe,
Now the right foot in the right shoe,
It feels wrong,
As if the childhood innocence is long forgotten.

Remember the chocolate smeared cheeks,
And your muddy feet,
Now looking at the diet chart,
In a clean home feels so strange.

Living without any worries,
And smiling carelessly,
Talking to everyone,
And wanting to befriend anyone.
Now being cautious,
And hiding your emotions,
We all grew up.
Maybe we'll not be able to be the same again,
For we learned something from all the mistakes we made,
I often wish we didn't,
Perhaps we could still be carefree,
And live without any worry.
