'Depression/Hope' Moonlit nights spent lying on her bed, Thin | Every Day Poems

"Depression/Hope"

Moonlit nights spent lying on her bed,
Thinking how bad those days went,
She kept hearing an incomprehensible voice,
But she was sedentary, lying all mute,
As if she were already dead....

Lots of thoughts did poach her brain,
Could that voice be intrusive,
Deluded as hell, indecisive who to rely on,
Where she could dump those emotions,
And all that mental strain...

She remembered his words that meant no harm,
Yet hurt her bad, left her with scars,
He convinced her only she deemed it so,
But she had lost all hopes for good,
Her grace, her adorable charm...

She told me she would not be loved ever
Vacillating between the living and the inanimate,
Never being perky but afraid of responsibilities,
Then this beholder poet whispered to her,
Your good days are not yet over.....
