The heart desires,
And we compel,
At times we fail.
I did too, didn't I?
I had my heart on you,
But yours was with someone else,
I failed at what I desired,
Maybe you'll too,
But I wanna take the failure from you,
I can't, can I?
I know you'll fail,
Or maybe fall,
Just like I did.
I can't take the pain away, can I?
But I wish that someone would be there,
Like how I wished I was once,
I wish you have a shoulder,
To share your burdens,
I wish I could take them away,
I can't, can I?
I don't wish you happiness,
But someone to wipe your tears,
I don't wish you a long life,
But one which isn't filled with lonliness.

The heart desires something,
But we can't always fulfill,
We try to compel to its wishes,
I hope you succeed in yours,
Than to burden yourself with the pain of failing yourself.
