In case you have very little time to memorize
Instructions on how to effectively memorize a meaningful text in two days.
Use the Ebbinghaus curve and the basic laws of memory. Read the text while thinking about its contents.
Try to
answer the questions at the end. If there are none, ask yourself the questions.
After 30 minutes, try to
reconstruct the text from memory. If you can't, you can peek at the material.
Repeat the same after 8 and 24 hours from the first repetition. During the repetition also ask yourself questions about the text. If possible, ask a companion to do this.
It is also worth mentioning memory consolidation. If you want to remember the material well for a long time, a good 8 hours' sleep is essential.
