The official statement from The ProudBoys:

Our brothers in Canada have become a political tool by the ruling elite of the Canadian government to further their authoritarian agenda.

ProudBoys Canada has and always will be a symbol of resistance against a government that has gone amok. They have sparked a movement that will be a guiding light for many patriotic Canadians. And that can NEVER be undone. The designation of ProudBoys Canada as a “terrorist” organization will have a massive effect on all political movements within its borders moving forward, this includes those that opposed them and those who championed for this legislation. Free speech is the staple of a free society. Labeling the ProudBoys was a move that leaves Canada less free.

That being said, it was an honor to have our brothers from up north represent the greatest fraternal organization the world has ever known. Because the ProudBoys put Christ and our families first...they have made the decision to disband. Their livelihoods and that of their future generations must come first. Fighting this in court will prove to be expensive and time consuming, Time that must be taken away from raising their children and loving their wives. They will continue to fight for western values...but now...as individuals.

The ProudBoys in Canada is no more. Anyone walking around in Fred Perry polos and ProudBoys gear are simply posers to our organization. We will respect the decision or our brothers and we will continue to hold them and their country in our prayers.

Many will champion and celebrate this decision by the Canadian ProudBoys, but this fight for liberty is far from over.

Ideas cannot be legislated and our fire will never be extinguished.

May their beers be cold...

Their bellies full...

And their families flourish.
