12 foods that can (and even should) be eaten at bedtime: nutritionist recommendations

There are many reasons why you should avoid eating before bedtime. One of the main ones is a digestive disorder, and with it, a decrease in the quality of sleep. How else do night snacks affect health? In what cases are they necessary? And what can be eaten in such a situation? A nutritionist tells us.

It could be:

- cottage cheese in the form of cheesecakes or casserole without sugar - it contains easily digestible proteins and calcium (but must not be lactose intolerant);

- baked chicken fillet - it is low in fat and high in digestible protein;

- Eggs - they are rich in protein and other useful elements. The best form of consumption is a boiled egg "in a bag" or a poached egg;

- Greek yogurt - only that which contains a lot of easily digestible protein, magnesium and useful lactobacilli.
