We often find it hard to get ourselves to do something when we have a big task ahead of us.

- The "five minutes" principle minimizes the fear of things to come, because "you're here for five minutes."

Lazy to work out - start packing your workout bag, lazy to study - grab your books, notebooks, and whatever else you need, then sit down at your desk and start doing.

Oddly enough, after 5 minutes the laziness disappears without a trace and you become much easier to continue working on the task at hand.
