Men and women grow up differentlyMany of us have heard the popular notion that men act like children even as adults. Some also believe that it is women who bring maturity to a relationship with their partner. Therefore, scientists decided to check how true these statements are. It turned out that public opinion was not far from the truth.
According to the study, the brains of both men and women eventually develop the same abilities used in everyday life. But men often show a delay in the long-term development of functional networks compared to women. This is where the view has emerged that men mature later in life. Women, on the other hand, are more likely to show premature deterioration of the aforementioned networks.
Thanks to science, I can state with certainty that the brains of men and women do work differently, which explains our behavioral patterns and degree of emotional maturity.
