2021-08-19 04:41:39 FIRST-HAND GROUND REPORT FROM AFGHANISTAN

What we are witnessing right now is the decimation of the country and people of Afghanistan. We are watching twenty years of work and the strengthening of a nation being destroyed in a single day.
The Taliban has a hit list of known Christians they are targeting to pursue and kill. The US Embassy is defunct and there is no longer a safe place for believers to take refuge. All borders to neighboring countries are closed and all flights to and from have been halted, with the exception of private planes. People are fleeing into the mountains looking for asylum. They are fully reliant on God, who is the only One who can and will protect them.
The Taliban are going door-to-door taking women and children. The people must mark their house with an “X” if they have a girl over 12 years old, so that the Taliban can take them. If they find a young girl and the house was not marked they will execute the entire family. If a married woman 25 years or older has been found, the Taliban promptly kill her husband, do whatever they want to her, and then sell her as a sex slave.
Husbands and fathers have given their wives and daughters guns and told them that when the Taliban come, they can choose to kill them or kill themselves—it is their choice.

Some women said they had no time to buy a burqa to comply with Taliban rules that women should be covered up and accompanied by a male relative when they leave the house.

To Afghanistan's women, the flowing cloth represents the sudden and devastating loss of rights gained over 20 years—the right to work, study, move and even live in peace—that they fear will never be regained.”[Source: CNN World]

PRAYER REQUESTS
Please pray for the Afghan Church to have strength and endurance. They continue to lead Bible studies, prayer meetings, and are proactively evangelizing during the very events you are seeing in the news. Pray for them to be hidden supernaturally by the hand of the Lord just like in John 8:59 when Jesus disappeared into the crowd.
The Afghan Church and GCM believe that the best days are before us, and we will witness the greatest movement of salvation among Muslims from the ashes of this catastrophe.
• Pray for those fleeing to the hills to be protected (Psalm 73, Psalm 91)
• Pray for miraculous protection for women and children being forcibly taken and those that have already been taken for their protection, salvation, and deliverance. (2 Thessalonians 3:1-5)
• Pray that the Afghan Church steps into her identity in Christ and walks in unity with the Holy Spirit. (Ezekiel 37, Romans 15:) Open / Comment

Jezebel hates prayer. Intercessory prayer pries her fingers off the hearts and souls of men. It sets people free in the spirit. When you pray it binds her. When you pray against immorality it cripples her. When you pray for a submissive heart, it is like trampling of Jehu’s horse upon her body.
Jezebel hates the prophets! The prophets speak out against her. The prophets are her worst enemies! When she wars, it disturbs people against the message of the prophetic church. More than she hates the prophets, she hates the words they speak! Her real enemy is the word of GOD! Sela, did you hear that? Her real enemy is the spoken work of GOD! Know your scriptures!
Jezebels ultimate hatred is against GOD himself. She hates the grace GOD lavishes upon his servants even after they sin. She hates the fact that GOD will take the weakest and lowliest and use them to bring her down. She hates the Holiness and purity of heart that comes from GOD and surrounds those who serve His cause.

Pray for Gods Goodness to lead them and you to repentance and never let any thing prevent you from returning to Him after trials you experience bring strife rather than restoration with Him. His Mercy, Grace and rrogivenes is bigger than your strife. Open / Comment

2021-08-18 15:24:03 Christ’s Example for the Tempted

At a moment when Jesus was physically vulnerable, the devil brought his first temptation. “When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward he was hungry. Now when the tempter came to him, he said, ‘If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread’” (Matthew 4:2-3, NKJV).

There’s no sin in being hungry. So, what’s the issue here?

Satan was challenging Yeshua. “If you are fully God, then you have God’s power in you. Right now, you’re in a very hard place. Why don’t you use the power God gave you to deliver yourself? Didn’t he give you that power to see if you would use it properly?”

Here is one of the most insidious temptations facing truly godly people. You have a passion for God. You’ve set your heart on being wholly surrendered to him. After a while, though, the Lord leads you into a wilderness experience, then questions arise. You begin to lose your bearings, wondering about God’s eternal purposes in your life. While you try to pray and gain the victory, Satan’s temptations seem fiercer than ever.

The enemy wants you to act independently of the Father. The devil says, “Your suffering isn’t from God. You don’t have to go through this. You have God’s power in you through the Holy Ghost. Speak the word. Free yourself. Satisfy your own hunger.”

First, Satan’s scheme was to create a power failure. He was hoping God wouldn’t honor Yeshua’ cry for bread, should he ask. If heaven’s power failed, then Christ might doubt his divinity and turn aside from his eternal purpose on earth. Second, Satan knew Yeshua was sent to do only what the father told him, so he aimed to convince Christ to disobey for his own welfare. That way, if Yeshua used his power to avoid suffering, he might do the same later to avoid the cross.

How did Yeshua answer the devil’s temptation? “He answered and said, ‘It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.”’” (Matthew 4:4).Christ said, in essence, “My coming to earth is not about my needs, hurts or physical comfort. I came to give to humankind, not to save myself.”

Even at the height of his suffering, Yeshua did not lose sight of his eternal purpose. If our Lord displayed dependence on the Father and compassion through a dry experience and the devil’s temptation, we can learn to do the same.

The Father says today, I’m doing a work in your generation that is hard for some to believe, and impossible for the wicked, even if they were told. My declaration has gone forth and My word has been spoken. The refreshing wind of My Spirit is blowing and the things that are held loosely are blowing away. Those temporary annoyances and difficulties that seem to never end, they are not permanent, and you will be left with those things that are essential moving into your next season. Nothing that you have need of will be lost. I am opening the wells within you that may have been stopped up from the difficulties and pain from past seasons and am calling you forth. You will rise to new heights as you realize the wonderful expressions of Grace coming up from within you as the Holy Spirit brings all things to your remembrance that I have told you of before. Now those things will make sense as you see the puzzle pieces coming together and revealing new strategies opening before you.

The waiting period is the most difficult, especially when the answers aren’t easy to identify. That is not Me saying no to your situation, nor is it My desire for you to suffer to teach you something. There are processes and outcomes and sowing that brings reaping and faith that is required to bring you into your expected end. The false accuser is lying in wait to deceive, so be wise as serpents and harmless as doves and you will discern what is true. You do have a part to play. Believing Me even when circumstances are contrary or opposite builds a firm foundation of faith that you can stand on. Faith speaks, faith believes, faith acts, faith receives. All it takes is a mustard seed to start the process. You have the resources available and at your disposal so why stay where you are? It is time to advance.
