Update on US troops, contractors and allies that are stuck in Afghanistan.

As of 7:00PM tonight, here is where we are at.
1. The Taliban is giving the United States until September 11, 2021 to leave the country according to a press conference held by a Taliban “spokesman” during a Qatar TV interview.
2. Thousands of Americans currently remain in Afghanistan without a clear evacuation plan by the US government being presented to the people.
3. Up to 70k Afghanistan nationals may be evacuated to the United States in the next few weeks. They are said to first be sent to a base, and then relocated to parts of Texas and Wisconsin.
4. Dozens of American contractors, servicemen and allies remain unaccounted for and are currently in harms way in occupied parts of Kabul. They are told to make their way to the airport which is currently held by US forces. The airport is very chaotic and full of refugees trying to escape the nation.
5. The US “president” Joe Biden says that he does not regret the way the situation has developed. He has been out of the public eye for most of this tragic situation with the exception of a brief press conference he held where he did not take any questions.
6. Joe Biden has not commented at all with regard to Americans who are currently in harms way.
