Direct clinical effects of cardiac radioablation in the treatment of a patient with therapy refractory ventricular tachycardia storm https://www.advancesradonc.org/article/S2452-1094(22)00099-9/fulltext?rss=yes
Cardiac radioablation or stereotactic arrhythmia radiotherapy is a new and promising noninvasive treatment modality for patients with ventricular tachycardia (VT) considered therapy-refractory or untreatable. It is unknown whether cardiac radioablation is a suitable therapy in the setting of VT-storm and incessant VT although cases have been reported. In this report, we present a 60-year-old male patient with an ischemic cardiomyopathy admitted for VT-storm. The patient was unresponsive to multiple combinations of anti-arrhythmic drugs and a left cardiac sympathetic block.
