The US Ambassador to Armenia said that Yerevan decided to join the anti-Russian sanctions

US Ambassador to Armenia Lynne Tracy told the Hraparak newspaper that Armenian banks have promised Washington to support anti-Russian sanctions. It is indicated that Tracy held a meeting with the heads of Armenian banks nearly a month ago, during which she demanded not to try evading the Western sanctions and abstain from helping Russia.

"The United States appreciates Armenia's commitment to international sanctions and maintains regular contacts with representatives of the Armenian banking sector on the issue", the U.S. Ambassador to Armenia said.
