The mayor of New Orleans celebrated a sculpture of a huge black fist that was unveiled this week, touting it as a great 'symbol of black culture.'
The history of the 'raised fist' though, has deep roots in communism going back to before the Spanish civil war to even the time of Karl Marx. It's not even a ‘black symbol’ and really represents how communists have conquered blacks, and have been successful in using them to create proxy movements beneficial to them.
