The Washington Post reported on the opening of a ‘migrant facility for children’ by President Biden’s administration.

A far cry from their opinion pieces: ‘they are concentration camps’ and ‘Trump’s baby prisons tear at the inspirational fabric of America’.

The articles which had attacked former President Donald Trump for opening similar facilities are very much toned down this week for Biden.

‘Dozens of migrant teens boarded vans…for the trip down a dusty road to a former man camp for oil field workers’.

No mention of ‘kids in cages’ now it seems.

Australia will amend a law that caused a standoff between Big Tech and the country over payments for AUS media.

FB's Treasurer has confirmed Australian news pages will be restored in the coming days, as the amendments take hold.

The changes are suggesting that the govt will now assess 'significant contributions' to the media industry. Australia has been criticized for 'caving' a week after Canberra said it would not be held by social media threats.

Some online have suggested it was in fact Facebook who gave in. This has not been confirmed.

Is this proof that Big Tech is bossing entire countries?

Winter storm Uri wreaked havoc on the US last week, with Texas bearing the brunt. Heavy snowfall and sub-zero temperatures had left over 4 million people in the Lone Star state without power and drinking water.

Incredibly Tiktok has been full of claims that the snow is fake. The hashtag #governmentsnow had 1 million views on the social media platform.

One clip says: ‘Thank you Bill Gates, for trying to f**king trick us that this is real snow….it’s not melting, and it’s going to burn’.

Tiktok users allege this is abnormal, when in fact all snow reacts like this - due to a process called sublimation.

A US study has revealed a woman in Michigan died last year from coronavirus - after been given INFECTED lungs in a double transplant.

It is believed that this is the first PROVEN case of the virus being transmitted during an organ transplant.

Surgery on the unarmed patient had initially gone well but she went into septic shock three days later - prompting medics to test her for Covid-19. Her results returned positive as did fluid taken from the lungs before the transplant.

The woman sadly died two months later, a surgeon who handled the donor’s lungs was ALSO INFECTED with coronavirus, becoming ill but ultimately recovering.

The principal chief of the Cherokee Nation wants Jeep to stop using the tribe’s name on its SUVs. He told Car and Driver in an interview, they do not want the tribes ‘name plastered on the side of a car’.

Jeep started using the Cherokee name over 45 years ago, they responded saying the SUV name is to ‘honor and celebrate Native American’ people.

The criticism follows several sports teams and companies dropping the use of logos and brand names that used perceived ethnic stereotypes.

A Welsh county council has decided to stop honouring heroic soldiers and worthy locals, declaring it will no longer have streets named after individuals.

Denbighshire County Council stated, ‘times and attitudes change’ and individuals can later ‘prove divisive’.

Their ruling appears to follow last year’s BLM campaign to have a statue of explorer Henry Morton Stanley in the area, removed over his colonial links.

The Daily Mail reported last year that the Welsh Government had spent over £17,000 on an audit of almost 600 statues, buildings, and street names to scrutinize their links to slavery.
