Whenever he wants attention, Sherkhan will take himself off to a far corner and 'sing', belting out high notes until his mother (or a music loving zookeeper) drops everything and comes to him. Staff at Russia's Barnaul Zoo insist he's been performing this way since he was born, in response to viewers' suggestions that he'd caught a cold.

The superintendent for Merseyside cleared things up, 'We would like to clarify that ‘being offensive’ is not in itself an offense.'

It's claimed the campaign was meant to encourage people to 'report hate crimes' - in a push to protect LGBTQI+ communities, minorities and sex workers.

Hundreds took to a central sq. in Bologna for a vigil and demonstration, with restaurants to shut from this Monday during peak hours.

As the city moves from yellow to orange zone in Italy's Covid restrictions, a curfew will mean restaurants and cafes can only serve takeaway until 18:00.

Locals have called it outright 'unacceptable, discrimination'.

Police were called out 717 times to the Antifa building HQ at Rigaer 94 in 2020, according to the Berlin senate.

German newspaper Die Welt reported many of the criminal acts affected neighbouring residents, including violent attacks on locals and property damage.

Despite numerous attempts to evict the Antifa squatters, the building remains a stronghold for the militants. A local politician said the district has become ‘characterized by crimes and administrative offences of the left-extremist scene’.

A leaked report from the German Federal Office last year warned of potential attacks on police and politicians from left-wing organizations, including assassinations.

Prominent German Green MP’s and MEP’s are supporting a manifesto which proposes to AMEND Germany’s basic laws to bestow special PROTECTIONS for MINORITIES.

The authors believe the existing guarantees for equal rights to all people regardless of their gender, origin, and other characteristics - is ‘problematic and inadequate’.

The manifesto published in German newspaper Die Zeit has sparked controversy online, particularly a special law that would LEGALLY OBLIGE public organizations and businesses to ensure that ‘discriminated groups’ are represented in their structure and in LEADERSHIP positions.

Whilst a few people online seemed keen on the proposal for a ‘Ministry of Social Cohesion’ many believed it to be straight out of George Orwell’s 1984.
