UK Suicide Bomber was Planning Attack for Months -
PoliceCounter-terror police say the man behind the bombing of a Liverpool hospital has been planning the attack since April, 2021 - after discovering that he had made “relevant purchases.”
Emad Al Swealmeen, who is understood to have failed in several attempts to claim asylum since coming to Britain in 2014 from Iraq, had rented a property in the city seven months ago and is thought to have gone through periods of mental illness.
The terror threat level in the country has since been upgraded to 'SEVERE' - meaning an attack is 'highly likely' after officials confirmed Swealmeen was not known to MI5.
