Ukraine General Key Role In Nord Stream Blast - WaPo & Der Spiegel
A joint probe by the American and German newspapers has found Kiev’s Special Operations General Roman Chervinsky coordinated the Nord Stream pipeline blast, citing sources in Ukraine and Europe.
His lawyers claimed the accusations were “Russian propaganda without any basis”, despite the Washington Post learning that Chervinsky supervised the team of six to rent a boat and diving equipment to place explosives on the pipeline.
Chervinsky is currently on trial in Kiev for alleged abuse of power, which he says is political retaliation for his criticism of President Vladimir Zelensky.
