Literal definition: drool running
Meaning: about an object appearing attractive and desirable, making somebody want to posses it; longing to eat or drink something that looks or smells delicious; about an anticipation of something extremely tempting, alluring. This expression has been in use since the mid-1500s. Even back then people knew that the sight, smell or even the thought of food could make a person's salivary glands work by causing their mouth to fill with drool.
Usage example:
У меня от одной мысли об этой квартире уже слюни текут.
My mouth's watering just thinking about this apartment.
