I got a good memory, dare to say almost photographic. That’s not an inborn talent but rather a result of post-traumatic stress after years at NIS. As a slow learner I needed more time to digest the material. But with constant flow of exams and pressure I was forced to memorize stuff without basic understanding.
I cannot say it’s a great skill because it makes me too comfortable. I remember I had a Linear Algebra & ODE midterm and didn’t stress out: I could just memorize all the problem sets with solution steps and ace the exam. It didn’t work out with Physics FOS 3-4 though, and I almost failed it.
