Enhancements to Six-Monthly Medical Examination (6ME) for Migrant Domestic Workers (MDWs) to strengthen detection against abuse
From 29 August, the 6ME will be enhanced to better detect any signs of abuse against MDWs
Key changes you need to know Recording of MDW’s body-mass index Checks for suspicious and unexplained injuries 6ME checks to be conducted at clinics without employers Cessation of home-based 6ME Compulsory submission of all 6ME reports to MOM
This is part of new measures to strengthen support for MDWs and their well-being Everyone has a part to play in taking care of our MDWs in our homes and our communities
