US markets close with gains to mark the highest ever close in all indices as bulls call the shots in the US. Nasdaq sees an intraday swing of over 180 points before closing higher by 50 even as Apple share close lower by 3%. Bond yields close near 1.56% while oil sees further weakness.

Asian markets opened in the green led by the Japanese 'Nikkei' which traded higher by over 600 points in early trade as auto, metal & financials lead the gainers. Taiwan and South Korean markets also have been a relative outperformer in Asian markets & could continue to do so. Chinese stocks are now seeing more foreign investors interest as valuations become very attractive.

The Nifty saw its worst 3 day's sell-off as foreign selling on Friday also saw the index close lower by over 185 points marking the worst 3 day's sell-off in over 6 months. Bank Nifty closed lower by 390 points while the midcap indices also saw collateral damage as leveraged investors sold stocks. The wave of foreign selling may have seen most short term damage done with oversold indices now looking set for a bounce by tomorrow Open / Comment
