2022-01-20 12:44:58 Bi-monthly current affairs magazine: An efficient way to tackle Soul-Sucking Current Affairs for RBI/NABARD/SEBI

Hi everyone,

This is the first edition of the 3rd layer of Shared Learning's Current Affairs Module — Bi-monthly Magazine.

Many of you had sent me worried messages regarding the delay. I am sorry, it wasn't feasible for me to reply to everyone. But this week, it is going to be a spree of current affairs magazines, starting with this bi-monthly magazine for October & November.

Though the magazine is delayed, I promise that the unique structuring of the content will increase your reading & retention efficiency by a huge margin. ( sharing another post to explain the new experiments)

Important note: Read this magazine along with other two magazines

Shared Learning's CA coverage is split into three magazines based on the "Return on investment"— (1) PRS Weekly, (2) Monthly magazine for Reports (3) Bi-monthly magazine

If you don't know about this division, please read the 3rd page of the PDF.

2022-01-11 08:44:11 Why is the channel so silent?

Hi everyone,

Many of you know that I also teach the UPSC Civil Services aspirants. For regulatory body examinations, I started my own initiative, "Shared Learning". But for UPSC, I work as part of an institute run by others.

One of my UPSC civil services coaching colleagues recently got health issues just before the Mains exam, and I had to fill his shoes. Because of the highly hectic workload in the UPSC Coaching, the Shared Learning's pace got lowered.

But UPSC mains exams are now over for this cycle. My primary focus will now be Shared Learning and regulatory body examinations.

There is another personal thing that I want to share. Till now, I have been trying to juggle two things — UPSC coaching and Shared Learning. But, sailing on two boats never works for anybody. So, I have decided to not signup for any significant work for UPSC's next cycle. And I will primarily spend time creating content for RBI Grade B and NABARD Grade A aspirants.

Tomorrow, I will be coming up with a new magazine of Shared Learning, with some new ideas to improve your reading efficiency.
Till then, keep working hard, friends :)

2022-01-07 18:41:37 NABARD Grade A/B Interview: Pillar III updated

Hi everyone,

I had divided the Interview preparation in three pillars:

(1) Bio-data related questions
(2) NABARD related questions
(3) Subject matter related questions.

The first two pillars were already complete. The third Pillar has been now updated. You can visit the link given below.

For Pillar III, you have to read the almost same topics that you studied for mains. But the approach changes.

I have listed down the bare minimum list of topics from Static and Current affairs that should be revised. For some important topics, I have also listed down the essential dimensions that you should know.

- The exact steps to prepare the Bio-data related questions (The most important pillar)

- Various examples to explain how the questions are framed from bio-data form

- Everything that you need to know regarding the right attitude, the way of presenting your answer etc.

- Smaller details like Dressing etiquettes, Different ways to apologize etc.

A small request:

I have invested a lot of time in explaining every small detail. But as Shared Learning's present visibility is quite limited, the article won't be able to reach the students who need the guidance. If you are comfortable, please share this article with your friends who will appear for the interview.

2021-12-22 18:19:23 RBI Grade B 2022: Self-Study guide for Finance and Management

Hi everyone,

RBI Grade B Coaching space is already full of advice for Self-study—Many teachers have suggested books. But I found some suggestions (mainly regarding Finance) very inefficient. I also observed some discrepancies between the sources through which coachings prepared their notes and their suggested sources for students.

So I decided to write a detailed self-study guide for Finance and Management.

Highlights of the Self-Study Guide:

- Chapter-wise best reading resources for Finance and Management

- You will get enough "fodder" from the descriptive perspective too.

- List of a few good websites that you can use for Finance and Management (other than the prominent ones like Investopedia and managementstudyguide)

- List of Important RBI and SEBI FAQ that you should read

- Management notes prepared by RBI Grade B 2021 topper Ms Suchana Ghosh ( Credit: Mr Shreerang Dhawedkar)
