Science and Higher Education Minister and Higher Education Institutes launched a country-wide digital skill action plan. The action emphasis reaching the goal of Higher Education institutions digital Ethiopia 2025 goal of increasing the job opportunities, improve the foreign currency problem and inclusive development.
The major five objectives of the action plan are to create and implement policies, standards, and frameworks, work to make timely improvements; support the quality of education and research and modernize the system with ICT, enable the institutes to access high-speed broadband and connect to the internet through the centralized cloud service, and ongoing capacity building training that can enhance digital skills leaders and staff of the educational centers.
