2021-06-06 03:23:02 Tying into the last post, here is a sample chart I did using my details. The white interior circle is divided up into the 13 houses. The outer ring has the symbols for the zodiac signs, with the constellations being updated to their accurate sizes, and is color-coded for easier identification. As you can see, there are several planets that are in different houses than what western astrology shows. Also, any planetary bodies that are within 3 degrees of another house/sign/constellation indicate that there will be a blend of both.

In this chart, there are two planets and the ascendant all in the constellation of Ophiuchus which was removed from the zodiac by the Babylonians simply because having 13 signs wouldn't make for easy math.

If you want to gain more understanding about the ego personality, then this is the system that appears to reflect information in the most accurate way. Open / Comment

2021-06-06 03:16:30 While astrology itself is incredibly ancient, the astrological system used in the West today was codified by Babylon in 500 BCE and no longer reflects the sky. Not only that, but the even division of 12 signs that are 30 degrees each into the Zodiac is inaccurate in the sense that some constellations are as small as being under 20 degrees in length while others like Virgo balloon to being 45 degrees.

With everything in the universe constantly moving, the stars are no different. Based on how fast the Earth is moving through space and the speed of other stars, as well as whether they are traveling closer to us or farther from us, lead to around 1 degrees every 72 years shifting within what we call the Zodiac. Given the differing sizes of the constellations as mentioned earlier, this further muddies the waters of astrology. Oh, and there's also a 13th sign called Ophichus that was incorrectly left out of the Zodiac even though it passes through the ecliptic plane. These issues, and others, make Western astrology quite inaccurate.

True sidereal astrology is the most accurate form of astrology that I have come across, that can also be considered true astronomical astrology. Every sign's house is modified to ensure it is the proper amount of degrees as it actualy is in the sky, among other changes. Here's a true sidereal chart calculator that can show you a more accurate reflection of your astrology chart, although even this won't account for certain aspects of Reality, but it is far more accurate than Western and even Vedic astrological systems (although Vedic is close to true sideareal when you factor in the nagshatras).

2021-06-05 07:26:16 Footage captured during an oil and gas expedition shows what looks like the remains of a truly enormous creature.

"The bones could be very ancient because I have seen many clay amphora sticking out of the mud and they have been there for potentially 1000's of years. The bones were about 30 meters long and very large and look more like they belong to a serpent of some kind."

After watching the video in its entirety, I believe the 100 foot-long skeleton resembles something akin to a water serpent with a gigantic head that seems to have had more features than simple a classic head...perhaps some sort of fins on the sides of it. There are many legends of ocean creatures that would match the description of something like this, giving those stories room for greater consideration.

Seeking a Spiritual Community

In a book called A Path With Heart, Jack Kornfield suggest some key questions to ask when considering a spiritual community :

In the spiritual community, are you asked to violate your own sense of ethical conduct or integrity?

* Is there a duel standard for the community versus the guru and a few people around him [or her]?
* Are there secret, rumors of difficulty?
* Do key members misuse sexuality, money, or power?
* Are they mostly asking for your money?
* Are they asking for your body?
* Are you not allowed to hang out with your old friends?
* Do you feel dependent? Addicted?
* Is the practice humorless (This is an important sign.)
* Does the community have a heaviness and an anti-life feeling about it?
* Are you asked to believe blindly without being able to see for your self?
* Is there something powerful going on that may not really be loving?
* Is there more focus on the institution and membership than on practices that lead to liberation?
* Is there a sense of intolerance?
* When you look at the oldest and most senior students, are they happy and mature?
* Do they have a place to graduate to, to teach, to express their own dharma, or are people always kept in the role of students and children?

Asking yourself these questions may save you from many years of misery and anguish so take some time to contemplate them and see if the organization you want to join answers those questions correctly. Open / Comment

2021-05-31 11:56:13 This is qi gong, baguazhang, and kung fu practiioner Lu Zijian. He lived to be 119 years old and was around 100 years old when this video was taken. Reject the notion that you will become an immobile old person who care barely string two thoughts or sentences together. When you harness the energy all around you, and treat your body, heart, and mind as the sacred temples they are, you will be like Lu Zijian, or even go beyond.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned Li Ching Yuen, who lived to be 256 years old thanks to taking He Shou Wu (contains more jing than anything on Earth) and practicing baguazhang, among other things. Here we have an interesting correlation between someone who was previously the oldest living person on Earth before he died in 1933, and someone who was the oldest man on Earth as well in the early 2010s, in that the practice of baguazhang was something they both did. Something to consider adding to your daily practice if you want to significantly increase the level of qi in your body.

Li Ching didn't started practicing baguazhang until he was 130 years old. Before that, he used herbs like lingzhi, goji berry (the Hunza people of the Pakistani Himalayas who are some of the oldest people on Earth also eat these), wild ginseng, he shou wu and gotu kola. He also started practicing tai chi chuan regularly, and Shaolin kung fu from what I gathered. When he was 130 years old, he met a 500 year old hermit in the mountains of China who taught him Baguazhang (a form of Chinese martial arts) and Qigong (practice of aligning breath and movement, involving healing and meditation), along with dietary recommendations.

You can live your life with limiting beliefs and pay the price, or you can expand your mind to what is possible and enjoy a much more incredible Reality than most believe is possible.
