Meet Sha-Mayn, the Singaporean who created Word-leh! – the Singlish version of global craze Wordle. When word spread like wildfire and the game grew to have up to 50,000 players a day, she shared that she was 𝗦𝗜𝗕𝗘𝗛
stunned by the response.
Based in New York for over a decade, she connects with fellow Singaporeans over 𝗠𝗔𝗞𝗔𝗡, especially during occasions like Lunar New Year and National Day. (Kueh shop @ladywongpastry and upcoming food hall @urbanhawker gets her really excited too )
She's now on a sailing sabbatical in the Mediterranean with husband @tobiboonstoppel and dog Twiggy on a boat named Kaya where she grows her own taugeh (bean sprouts) and carries dark soy sauce to make bak kut teh. 𝗣𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗥
