The String Technologies Testing Centre in Sharjah continues to attract delegations from all over the world. This time, the representatives from the Egyptian business community have visited the site.

The highlight of the tour was a ride on the certified tropical Unicar. The guests then visited the dispatch room, where there was presented the hardware-software system for traffic control and the data acquisition system on the tracks.

The delegates have also been in the pavilion that showcases the high-speed model of the string transport. This vehicle can reach speeds of up to 500km/h on intercity and international routes.

The guests also went to see the headquarters of the company, which is developing the project in the Middle East. This building features a working mock-up of a linear city. These are settlements of a modern type, which are connected by string tracks.

At the end of the tour, the parties discussed the possibility of introducing the string freight transport in Egypt. This was the direction of the project which the delegates were particularly interested in.

2022-06-22 18:05:00 ​​ Day in the history of SkyWay | 22 June, 2015 | Unitsky String Techonogies, Inc. leased the land for the Testing Centre in Belarus

On 22 June 2015, the Pukhovichi District Executive Committee of the Minsk Region of the Republic of Belarus and the company developer Unitsky String Techonogies, Inc. signed a land lease agreement № 1594.

Under the agreement, Unitsky String Technologies, Inc. accepts the land plot of 35.8 hectares for the construction of the EcoTechnoPark, the future String Technologies Testing Centre. The expiration date of the lease is 19 June, 2040.

A year and a half after the agreement was signed, the first string transport will ride in the EcoTechnoPark. For hundreds of thousands of investors, the EcoTechnoPark will forever be an international centre for the worldwide expansion of the string technologies. Open / Comment

The Vietnamese Association of Universities and Colleges has welcomed a delegation of the SWC representatives. The news about that was published in the electronic edition «Vietnamese Education».

On the part of the association, the meeting was attended by Chairman Dr Vu Ngoc Hoang, Vice-Presidents Dr Tran Xuan Nhi, and Dr Le Viet Khuyen, as well as the representatives of the association's subdivisions. SWC was represented by the Board Members Vladimir Maslov and František Solár. Besides them, the investors of the project from Vietnam also attended the meeting.

The publication reports that the string transport can be introduced into the existing urban infrastructure. This will reduce traffic jams and make trips faster and more comfortable. Moreover, the construction will cost less than a metro line or a railway.

The authors of the publication also write that the string transport project can enter the «International Union of Public Transport» which unites more than 1400 companies and research institutes from 96 countries of the world.

As a result of the meeting, Dr Tran Xuan Nhi highly appreciated the advantages of the string transport and stated that he expects to introduce this technology in Vietnam.

In the near future, the association will hold a separate meeting to present the string transport to higher education institutions that train personnel in the transport and construction sectors. Open / Comment

2022-06-21 12:05:00 ​​ Belarusian String Transport Testing Centre hosts a delegation from "Beltelecom"

The representatives of the Belarusian telecommunications company «Beltelecom» have visited the String Transport Testing Centre in Maryina Gorka. The delegation consisted of more than 50 people.

The guests were briefed on the advantages of the technology and were shown the main facilities of the Centre: the string-rail flyover, the rolling stock, the station and the museum of the string transport.

During the tour, delegates got to know, for example, that the string transport runs on electricity, travels above the ground, helps solve traffic jams problem and can reach speeds of up to 150 km/h within the city.

The participants showed great interest in the project. And some of the visitors were not previously aware that such technologies exist in Belarus. That is why organised trips to the Testing Centres are taken place for as many people as possible to be able to appreciate the possibilities of the string transport and see it in action.

The company, which promotes the string transport in the Middle East, has received certificates of environmental management ISO 14001: 2015 and occupational safety ISO 45001:2018. The relevant documents were issued by the international certification body TÜV SW Standardization Certificates.

The ISO 14001:2015 Certificate establishes the requirements for the company's environmental management system and creates opportunities for development in the field of environmental protection. This is provided by:

― Reducing the company's adverse environmental impact.

― Control over the development of the company's products, their use and disposal.

― Obtaining financial and operational benefits through the introduction of environmental alternatives.

― Communicating information about environmental initiatives to interested parties.

Certificate ISO 45001:2018 establishes the requirements for the health and labour safety management system. The purpose of this system is to prevent occupational injuries and deterioration of workers' health, as well as to create safe workplaces.
