Intern (Insolvency / Forensic Accounting)
Job Requirements:
Assisting in litigation support as well as internal and external investigations
- Verifying and reviewing of financial information and records
- Collating, analysing, interpreting and presenting findings
- Carrying out information gathering and research
- Demonstrating technical knowledge of accounting practices
- Clarifying issues to be addressed and communicating them clearly and promptly to supervisorsInsolvency
- Assist in the preparation of letters, notices, emails and reports
- Supporting the administration of insolvency and restructuring engagements
- Liaising with stakeholders through calls, correspondences and emails
- Travelling offsite to secure and realise assets
- Adjudicating creditors' claims
- Attending meetings and taking minutes
- Demonstrating technical knowledge of accounting practices
- Clarifying issues to be addressed and communicating them clearly and promptly to supervisors
Job Description:
- Degree / Diploma in Accountancy pen-ultimate / final year students
- Strong analytical and report writing skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights and construct solutions
- Excellent written, oral, presentation and organisational skills
- Comfortable to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines and projects concurrently and able to deal with fluidity in work flow
- A strong team player
- Transferrable skills acquired through internships and work experience will also be considered
